AdaSailing was founded in 2007 by Captain Ernesto Alfano, a dreamer born in Buenos Aires who spent years exploring the world by land and sea. After living in Mexico City for some time, Ernesto arrived in Puerto Vallarta in 2004 with his daughter Andrea — carrying with him the vision of creating something truly special on the Pacific coast.
Together, they launched a family business that would offer more than just sailing tours — they offered connection: to nature, to loved ones, and to unforgettable moments at sea.
In 2017, Ernesto passed away in Puerto Vallarta after a brave battle with cancer. His daughter Andrea, who had been by his side every step of the way, continues to lead AdaSailing with the same passion, care, and love for the ocean that her father instilled in every journey.
