Reservation and Cancellation Policies

Deposit

To confirm your reservation, a 50% deposit of the total amount is required.

The remaining balance must be settled before boarding

More than 15 days in advance: full refund of the deposit, minus bank or platform fees.

14 to 7 days in advance: 50% refund of the deposit.

Less than 7 days in advance: deposit is non-refundable.

No-shows (failure to show up on the day of the tour): 100% of the service will be charged. Transferability and substitutions

Transferability and substitutions

In case of illness or any other condition preventing attendance, the charter may be transferred to another person, or a passenger may be substituted.

The client must notify at least 72 hours in advance.

If the food menu has already been selected, it cannot be modified.

More than 72 hours in advance: full refund, minus bank or platform fees.

Less than 72 hours in advance: non-refundable, but you may request a reschedule or a credit valid for another tour during the same season, subject to availability.

Ticket transferability

In case of illness or any other situation preventing attendance, the ticket may be transferred to another person.

The client must notify at least 24 hours in advance.

If the food menu has already been selected, it cannot be modified.

The safety of our passengers and crew is our priority. Weather in Banderas Bay can change quickly, and all decisions regarding tour operations will be made by our expert team and the Captain.

Thunderstorms, hurricanes, or tornados → the tour will be canceled or rescheduled with a full refund option.

Heavy rain lasting more than 90 minutes → the tour will be rescheduled.

Light rain or brief showers → the tour will operate as scheduled.

Additional criteria for cancellation or rescheduling:

If the Harbor Master issues a small craft advisory.

If winds exceed 25 mph (40 km/h).

In case of an active tropical storm in the area.

In the rare case of mechanical issues.

In any of these scenarios, clients may choose to reschedule their trip (subject to availability) or receive a full refund.

Private charters: one date change free of charge is allowed if requested at least 7 days in advance, subject to availability.

Ticketed tours: rescheduling is allowed if requested at least 72 hours in advance, subject to availability.

Service includes alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to the package booked.

AdaSailing promotes safe and responsible drinking.

Any inappropriate, aggressive, or unsafe behavior that endangers passengers, crew, or the vessel will result in an immediate return to port with no refund issued.
